This included choice of crops, crop rotations, irrigation systems and irrigation scheduling including expected water usage patterns and also the economics of irrigated agriculture – crop revenues, input costs and expected profits based on local market data. A highlight of the project included an economic analysis of the whole project. Agricultural design provided as part of the Tahal Team engaged in consulting to the project.
